Checking and Savings Accounts
We offer a full array of personal checking and savings accounts designed to fit your specific banking needs. Several accounts earn monthly interest at competitive rates and most come with additional free services such as ATM/Debit Cards1, Money Orders,
24 hour access to Online Banking, free Bill Payment transactions and single or multiple monthly account statements can be produced and mailed a CD-Rom for $7.00 per statement.
Community First Checking 2
A basic, low transaction, non-interest bearing checking account. Maintain a minimum daily balance of $500 to avoid a $7.00 monthly service fee.
The minimum balance requirement and the monthly service charge may be waived if any of the following apply: You are under the age of 23 OR over the age of 60 OR have a monthly re-occurring direct deposit into the account or have a personal savings account.
Community Gold Checking 2
An account with unlimited debit/check transactions offering a competitive rate of interest each month. Minimum balance to open the account is $100. By maintaining a minimum daily balance of $1,000 you will avoid paying a monthly service charge of $10.00. If you have direct deposit or a personal savings account, the monthly service fee will be waived and you will receive no fee for first order of safety checks, and no fee for money orders and cashiers checks.
Community Platinum Checking 2
Some may use this as a savings account due to the payment of competitive interest rates on a tiered balance structure though this account does offer unlimited checks/debits. You must maintain a balance of $10,000 at all times to avoid a monthly service fee of $10.00. If you have direct deposit or a personal savings account, the monthly service fee will be waived and you will receive 0.25% discount on a safe deposit box and no fees for money orders, cashiers checks and travelers checks. Personal Savings Account 2
The savings account is on a quarterly statement cycle and you must maintain a minimum balance of $100 to avoid a $9.00 quarterly service charge. If you are under 23 years of age, over 60 years of age, you will not be required to maintain the minimum balance or be charged the $9.00 quarterly service charge. Federal Regulation allows only Six (6) automated transfers or debit transactions from this account per any 4 week period.
Unlimited transactions are allowed if conducted in person at the bank.
MyLife…MySavings 2
A savings account designed to help you save for a special purpose such as a car, home project, wedding or other special event. This account is on a quarterly statement cycle. One (1) withdrawal per quarter is allowed at no charge. Each withdrawal over one (1) per quarter is assessed $15. A direct deposit or automatic transfer is the convenient way to start saving today.
Telephone Banking
Account balances, transfers, loan information and demand fax statements are available
24 hours a day with our free telephone banking service (1-866-959-7979, access code
31).
